Biography
Raymond F. Solomson, Sr., after 32 years of service, retired a few years ago as Vice President of Operations and Finance of the distribution department of the Phoenix Life Insurance Company in Hartford. He was a Series 7 and 24 registered rep of the NASD. Prior to his employment with Phoenix, he was a Russian linguist in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He has served as chairman for several committees in his community and on the board of his golf club as treasurer.

Mr. Solomson has served on the Board of Trustees of Goodwin College since 2007 and was recently elected to his second 3 year term. He serves on the Budget and Finance and Development Committees. He also heads the committee which runs the annual golf tournament raising funds for Goodwin College’s Foundation Scholarship program.
