Financial Aid

Financial planning for your continued education may not be as difficult as you may think.

What is ‘financial aid?’
Financial aid is any assistance you receive in paying for tuition, books, and supplies. Learn more about the types of financial aid and all the loans, grants, and scholarships that are available to you.

We realize that applying for financial aid can be a daunting process. At Goodwin, you will work with a personal Financial Aid Officer who will help you create a financial plan that is just as unique as you are. Our goal is to assist you in understanding your financial package and put you on a path to success.

In addition to government grants and loans, Goodwin College awards more than $2 million annually to students. This assistance helps a large number of students realize their dream of completing college. It’s important to note that most Goodwin College students begin class with little or no out-of-pocket expense.

Lets get started!
The first step in applying for financial aid is completing the The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
If you are thinking about financing your education, completion of the FAFSA is the entryway into the financial aid system. Learn more about FAFSA.  Please be sure to enter the Goodwin College school code: 015833.

To access the online FAFSA, go to http://www.studentloans.gov. Right in the middle of the page, click on the "FAFSA" link and you will be at the site needed to complete your FAFSA.  If you do not have a Department of Education issued PIN, you will need to apply for one before completing the FAFSA.  Just above the FAFSA link, you will see a PIN link; this is where you can apply for the PIN.

Even with financial aid, how can I afford to go to school?
Because a little planning goes a long way. Goodwin prides itself on being an affordable, private college. We really mean it when we say that most students begin class with little or no out-of-pocket expense. Here are some cost-reducing options to consider, so that you never have to say, “never.”
