Financial Aid - FFELP Student Loans
At Goodwin College, we understand that a college education is crucial to maintaining an acceptable life style, and today, more than ever, a degree is a necessity. To assist in the financing of your education, Goodwin College offers a wide range of grants, scholarships, employment opportunities, and loans. Your eligibility for gift money will always be researched first, and the loans will round out your financial aid package. Goodwin College allows all students to choose the lender of their choice for their Federal Family Education Loan. In the event a student has no preference, the financial aid staff has a list of lenders that, based on research, have provided quality service and benefits to the student borrower. Goodwin evaluates a wide range of lenders and guarantee agencies to insure the student will get the best loan possible. Our evaluation is based on (but not limited to) the following criteria:
Goodwin College evaluates lenders on a yearly basis to insure the above criteria are still in place. The lenders we suggest are designed as an optional service for our students and their families in helping them find competitive market rates and excellent customer service. Again, the student or parent borrower is free to borrow through any participating lender.
