GENERAL ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Goodwin College welcomes applications from graduates of accredited high schools or secondary schools or persons who have a high school equivalency diploma. High school students that are in their senior year are strongly encouraged to submit an application as early as possible.

Procedure:

• Schedule an appointment for an Admissions Interview

• Complete Application for Admission with Admission Officer

• Write a one-page essay about what program of study you are interested in pursuing and why the program interests you.


Date of interview please bring:

• $50.00 Application Fee
• Application for Admission

High school students are encouraged to submit a personal essay (250 – 500 words) detailing their interest in Goodwin College along with at least on letter of recommendation. Although Goodwin College does not require SAT scores, high school students that are applying to the college are urged to have their scores submitted to Goodwin College by using school code: 015833 and by submitting your scores along with your application for admission.
Following an interview and submission of your application, all applicants will be informed of their acceptance or rejection within 2 weeks of application.

Upon acceptance, a provided response card informing Goodwin College that you plan to attend in the fall semester is required to mail to the college along with a $100.00 tuition deposit.

Upon confirmation of enrollment for the fall semester, placement testing and a meeting with an academic advisor will be arranged.
