Goodwin College Offers Public Tours Of Tall Ship
On Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Goodwin College is welcoming the public
to its River Campus in East Hartford to tour the tall ship the
Half Moon. The
Half Moon, a
full-scale, operating replica of the Dutch ship of exploration that Henry Hudson sailed in 1609, is a
traveling museum that conducts programs about the unique history of the Dutch colony called New Netherland.
The Goodwin College River Campus is located at
One Riverside Drive in East Hartford, CT 06118. Parking and
admission onto the tall ship are free. Children are welcome. To learn more about the
