Career Services information for employers

Why hire Goodwin University students and alumni?

Our philosophy is that academic programs at Goodwin University must have clear ties to employment outcomes in order to be a win-win for students and employers. Our academic programs reflect job-market trends and seek to meet areas of workforce need. Each academic program is guided by a volunteer advisory board comprised of industry leaders.

Unlike many for-profit and online-only educational options, Goodwin University offers students degree programs that have been subjected to stringent accreditation and industry review. Goodwin University is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), which means that all of our programs are peer-reviewed and held to high standards for academic excellence and student success. Several degree programs, including medical assisting, nursing, child study and histology are additionally accredited by leading academic and industry groups.

Our students are trained and developed for success throughout their Goodwin University experience through their academic programs and the Office of Career Services.

Schedule a virtual information session

We offer virtual employer information sessions that provide students and alumni with information about organizations that are currently hiring and interested in marketing positions to the Goodwin community. Employers may request a one-hour session by submitting our Employer Information Session Request form at least four weeks in advance of the desired date.

Attend a career fair

Connect with highly qualified and well-prepared students and alumni at multiple career fairs throughout the year. Opportunities exist for all employment needs within large corporations to smaller businesses that represent Goodwin University programs. Rooms are always available for on-site interviews.
